Michelle Mollica, MBA
I’m Michelle Mollica, MBA, founder of InsightfulFutures. For more than 20 years, I worked in client leadership and strategic consulting roles — most notably guiding senior executives at Fortune 500 companies in using data to drive business outcomes. That experience now informs the structured, confident, and student-centered approach I bring to college planning, combining strategy and organization with compassion and individualized support.

Alongside my professional career, I have been deeply involved in education and student support through long-standing volunteer roles. I serve as a mentor with Minds Matter Boston, working weekly with high-achieving students from under-resourced backgrounds from sophomore year through college applications and decisions. This experience has given me hands-on insight into how guidance, structure, and encouragement can shape a student’s confidence and outcomes.

Across several out-of-state relocations along the East Coast and while guiding my own three children through their college journeys, I developed a strong appreciation for resilience, flexibility, and thoughtful planning during major life transitions. These experiences continue to shape how I support families today.

I continue to strengthen my practice through ongoing professional development and training. I am completing the Graduate Certificate in Independent Educational Consulting at UC Irvine and am an active member of both the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA).
My work with students is data-informed, collaborative, and organized — bringing clarity to the college process and ensuring students feel prepared, capable, and proud of the story they present to the world.
